DEAR COLLEAGUES!

We invite KNEU students, postgraduates and professors to take part in the IDEAFEST business idea competition, which will be held on May 15, 2025 at 10:00!

The KNEU Center for Entrepreneurship is holding an international competition for students, postgraduates and professors of KNEU, which gives them the opportunity to present their business ideas and receive the necessary support in their commercialization.

The winners will receive mentoring from business experts, mentors, and the opportunity to present their projects to foreign investors.

The application deadline is May 12, 2025 (10:00).

All applications will be evaluated by an expert jury.

Among all the applications received, 5 finalists will be selected to present their business ideas.

TERMS OF PARTICIPATION

The competition is open to KNEU students enrolled in bachelor`s, master`s or PhD programs and teachers;

The business idea must be an original work of a student/teacher or student/teacher team; Participants must fill out a project application and record a video in Ukrainian about their business idea (up to 2 min. ) and send them to the KNEU Entrepreneurship Center email cfe@kneu.edu.ua by May 12, 2025 (10:00);

Students and teachers can participate both independently and in a team - maximum 4 students or teachers;

Prizes are awarded subject to justification of the practical application of the business idea;

The judges` decision is final.

BUSINESS IDEA EVALUATION CRITERIA

How unique and viable is the business idea?

Is there a market for the business idea?

How effective is the business idea and is there competition with existing companies?

Will the business idea make money and how?

Upon request, 5 finalists can present their business projects in English to the international jury in addition.
