Tetiana V. Zhyber is an Professor at the Department of Finance. She graduated from Kyiv National Economic University in 1999 and has been part of the faculty since then, first as a Professor’s Assistant (1999–2005) and later as an Associate Professor (2006–present). She was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor in 2010. Her research focuses on money, finance and credit (specialty 08.00.08), with an emphasis on budgeting, public financial management and optimization of budget processes. She defended her Candidate of Economic Sciences (PhD) thesis on "Budget Process and Its Optimization in Ukraine" at Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman in 2006. In 2024, she obtained her Doctor of Economic Sciences degree with a thesis on "Principles and Technologies of Budgeting in Public Finance."
