In 1995 he graduated from the History Department of Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi State University; he obtained the qualification of a specialist historian, history teacher. In 1995 - 1998 he worked as a history teacher at secondary school No. 18 in Chernivtsi.
 
In 2000-2005 he worked as a civil servant in the Chernivtsi City Military Commissariat. At the same time, as a graduate of Pereyaslav-Khmelnytsky State Pedagogical University, he worked on his candidate's thesis.
 
From September 1, 2005 he returned to teaching at the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines of the Chernivtsi Faculty of NTU "KhPI" and during the academic year (2005-2006) he defended his candidate's thesis in the specialty 07.00.01 - History of Ukraine at the Bohdan Khmelnytskyi Cherkasy National University.
 
Since September 1, 2006, he has worked at the Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University, initially at the Department of Sociology of the Faculty of Philosophy and Theology, and after the reorganization of the faculty and department (September 2020) - at the Department of Philosophy and Cultural Studies of the Faculty of Philology.
 
In April 2021, he defended his doctoral dissertation in sociological sciences at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (in 2016 - 2018, he was in doctoral studies and at the same time continued to work at Chernivtsi University part-time). In June 2023, he received a certificate of the academic title of professor.
 
Author of 80 publications - scientific (monographs, articles, theses) and educational and methodological publications (textbooks) in various specialties ("History", "Sociology", "Economics", "Social Security", "Public Management and Administration").
