Scholarships at OTH Amberg-Weiden, Technical University of Applied Sciences07 Серпня 2023р.

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

Dear students,

We would like to inform you about a current scholarship at Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Amberg Weiden (OTH – Technical University of Applied Sciences) for Ukrainian students and those thinking about starting their studies soon.

Feel free to share with friends and colleagues who could be interested!

Within the framework of the DAAD funding program "Zukunft Ukraine - Scholarship Program for Refugees from Ukraine at German Universities", OTH Amberg-Weiden will be able to award scholarships to enrolled Ukrainian students in 2023 and 2024. More information on the UAre@OTHAW scholarships can be found in the call for applications attached to this email.

The scholarship serves to finance full-time studies (Bachelor, Master, Ph.D.) at the OTH Amberg-Weiden. It is granted for the current funding period and can be extended for a further funding period if necessary, but not beyond the end of 2024.

The amount of the scholarship is 931,-€ per month. It is paid in monthly installments.

The aim of the one-year scholarship program is to promote and support Ukrainian students and young academics in Germany, i.e. Ukrainian citizens who had their center of life in Ukraine until 24.2.2022 and/or who came to Germany in the winter semester 21/22 to begin a degree program or an exchange semester, as well as third-country nationals or stateless persons who enjoy international protection in Ukraine, provided they were in Ukraine before or on 24.2.2022. More information on this can also be found in the FAQs of the “Zukunft Ukraine” DAAD funding program.

Applications for the funding period starting with the winter semester 2023/24 must be submitted to KOMO until August 15, 2023.

OTH AW explicitly also invites applications from (possible) future students at OTH AW. In addition to the scholarships, OTH AW offers consultations and help for Ukrainian students as well as English-taught degree programs on Bachelor and Master level.

For questions about the scholarships and application process contact the Competence Center Bavaria – Central and Eastern Europe (KOMO) at OTH AW – komo@oth-aw.de.
