Doctor Gerald M. Groshek

Gerald M. Groshek, Ph.D.

Gerald Groshek is Professor of International Economics and Business at the University of Redlands, School of Business. In addition to teaching, he has had practical experience in international banking and foreign exchange trading. Professor Groshek regularly teaches undergraduate and graduate level courses in global finance, international economics and business.  His areas of research interest include foreign exchange markets, international economic coordination, foreign direct investment, and economic transition with articles appearing in Comparative Economic Studies, Journal of Multinational Financial Management, Journal of Business and Behavioral Sciences, Journal of Management and Entrepreneurship, Public Budgeting and Finance, and International Economic Policy. Prior to joining the University of Redlands, Professor Groshek taught at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California.  He received a Fulbright Scholar grant in 2003-4 followed by Fulbright Specialist grants in 2008, 2010, and 2015.  Professor Groshek is a frequent visitor at various foreign universities including the Kyiv National Economic University in Kyiv, Ukraine; the University of Economics in Bratislava, Slovakia; XIME in Bangalore, India; and Novancia in Paris, France.
